I really did enjoy my visit to Ephesus, the restaurant on Orpington High Street that is! From the Gas flames burning out side like two Olympic torches to the sparklers on my desert.
I had juicy succulent;
Spicy Tiger Prawns £4.95
Prawns sautéed with tomato, chilli, garlic and basil
Followed by delicious soft:
Lamb Cutlets £11.95
Grilled sumac spice-scented 4 lamb cutlets served with salad garnish and rice
I don't normally eat desert but when i saw their home-made Tiramisu i just had too!
Tiramisu (home-made) £3.95
Coffee soaked pan di spagna with real mascarpone cream dusted with cacao powder
There was no rush, we were greeted by the owner and made to feel welcome the minute we walked through the door.
When I paid the bill we were offered a drink on the house, i had a Baileys and my wife had a Brandy. (they were not small measures either)
The whole experience was extremely pleasant and great value.
