John the proprietor of Nevins is the definition of hospitality. He is ever present ensuring the food and service is second to none. It is situated just off the greenway and for this if you with camper vans there is a car park in front which can be parked up in overnight if you are partaking of the fine food and ale of an evening.

Have to say if you have the pleasure of cycling the greenway, then be sure to put Nevins on the list of watering holes. The pints were lovely and the food was excellent and really good value. In my party some went for the mussels which were a really generous portion. I liked that they also had some local craft brews on draft.

We booked two rooms above the pub for an overnight on our trip through Ireland. Just so happened that we were there on a Thursday night when a local group provided music and friendship in the cozy pub on a rainy night. John, the owner, took special effort to assure that our stay was enjoyable. The rooms were smallish, but well appointed and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were both very good, but it was the friendly staff and locals that made the stay memorable. We experienced true Irish hospitality at it's best. Would recommend this place to anyone hoping to connect with the locals.

Very cosy old style bar with warm , welcoming open fire. Great menu, and very tasty well presented food, with friendly service. Room clean and comfortable, at VERY reasonable rate. This place is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, very near the Greenway for people who like to walk or cycle. The drive from Bangor Erris through Ballycroy, through Mulranny and on to Nevins is breath taking in its beauty - do it and see for yourself. Do not be in a hurry on the drive - the road is narrow and windy! Do not be in a rush in Nevins either - breakfast etc is at a very relaxed pace! Lovely and friendly though - just what you need when you are taking a break!

Absolutely amazing place. Rooms are clean & very good value for money. The food is excellent, staff are friendly and very efficient. John couldn't do enough for us, he was always making sure that we were looked after. Great pints of Guinness! If your in the part of the country....do not pass Nevins!! We will definitely be returning!
