“The best Sunday roast”
Review of The Queens Arms

I'm no expert but I know what I like
This is my second outing for Sunday roast at the Queens Arms
When I say traditional Sunday roast I mean just like it was cooked 20 of 30 years ago
Good old mum's cooking
This is a family run Pub and probably one of only a few old-fashioned pub still about
After eating my fabulous Sunday roast I endeavoured to eat the chocolate sponge pudding with custard
Honestly I could hardly walk to the car

The topic on the way home with my friend who would've licked his plate clean if there wasn't so many people in the pub, said it was the nicest roast dinner he can remember
If you are looking for a good honest Sunday roast give the Queens Arms try
I can't wait for next weekend

This pub is family owned and operated by the family, in a small hamlet with mainly locals visiting. It only does Sunday lunches from 12 until 3 pm. All the food is cooked by the family, and no outside chefs are involved.
Now here is the best bit...the lunch is large, when my wife and me went recently
(by accident as I was lost in the area) we had five kinds of veg, large portions of meat, roast potatoes and pots of gravy, and even more gravy in a boat.
All for just around £6.95. Usually there is a small choice of puddings.
All the food is cooked like grandma used to, the veg being well cooked until soft.
The pub is in fact in Egerton Forstal. which is very close to Egerton.

We will certainly go again as this reminds us of the type of food we had when we were younger.
