we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed especially the garden very much. The breakfast was wonderful as well with handmade cake and fresh fruits every morning.
As my husband had a tooth problem Kirsti Was very helpful in finding a dentist.

“Interesting experience, with some lovely touches.”

Kirsty is a good hostess and does produce an excellent breakfast, even though the bread wasn't always fresh but reheated, so if you were slightly late it had gone hard which let it down somewhat. The facilities included a great garden kitchen and area to relax in the sunshine. If you booked the double room with the bathroom next door you were ok. If not however, beware because the bathroom facilities for the second room are not ideal. The tiny bath is upstairs and the toilet is on the ground floor undert the stairs, which is a public area and rather disconcerting especially when there are other guests standing outside the door having a conversation.

“Very relaxing, lovely proprietor.”
Reviewed 8 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Booked both rooms for my husband and I, and our son. Guests have the whole of the first floor and are able to use the kitchen and living room downstairs. We were welcomed with tea and a lovely home made apple flan -still warm. Lovely views from the bedrooms, nice touches like different local specialities for breakfast, we were also invited to take aperitifs with the family one evening. Local guide books were offered and suggestions for places to visit.. Not the poshest place to stay but generally good standard. If you want to experience local culture then this is a great place. Owner speaks fluent English and French so no language issues. Lots of beaches within easy reach, quite quiet area out of season. We will probably return.
