We loved our too brief stay in this beautiful castle surrounded by the vineyards that yield fantastic wines made right there. Our room was very comfortable and had the best jetted tub we've ever experienced. Everywhere you look you are greeted by picturesque vistas never to be forgotten. The owners were warm, accommodating, and very down to earth. The breakfast was one of the best meals we had during a month of dining at mostly high end restaurants. We'll definitely stay longer next time and buy more wine as well. Simply the BEST!

This was a classy and unique find -- a castle set in beautiful quiet rolling hills reminiscent of Tuscany, yet so close to Aix-les-Bains. The castle has been magnificently restored by the owner over 10 years, and the five or so bedrooms are all totally different and beautifully appointed. The swimming pool in the castle grounds is so relaxing and a very decent size, I spent the whole day by the pool with noone in sight, it was heavenly. There is no restaurant on-site, but some nice options in nearby villages, and a Michelin star restaurant up the road. The breakfast was ok -- it could be improved with some additional choices, fruit salad and boiled eggs for example: for those who are lactose and gluten intolerant, bread and cheese is just not satisfactory for breakfast in this day and age... Other niggle is the plastic cover over the mattress which is not acceptable for the prices paid... We liked the place very much and will return.

For wine lovers, chat with the host, he is very entertaining, loves his wine, and is very happy to share his thoughts and knowledge; you can request a wine sampling, his wines are some of the most renowned in the valley.

This Chateau is simply fantastic. Dating from the 13th century and newly renovated with rooms that now have very high standards and comfort.
The hosts are very welcoming, the breakfast is outstanding and the wines produced at the castle by the very dedicated host winemaker are excellent.
This B&B is highly recommended if you are in the area!
