We came here all wet and tired after a long bicycle trip. The staff was really friendly, gave us easily a room and a place for our bicycles and everything could rest. The rooms were enough big to have some clothes washing (as it was raining all day). And the beds were very comfortable (not to soft).

The dinner, where we had to sign in, was great, a little to much. Asking for a vegetarian menu was no problem.

During the dinner we had the jukebox in our ears, but as we were to tired it was quite ok.

Very quiet town and a wonderful hotel. Great cycling and hiking in the middle of Pollino Park. Vincenzo the owner took special care of us. Food is delicious.

We stayed here 2 nights in late October as a base for a day's hiking in the Pollino. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the main part of the village. Style is typical of a mountain hotel - simple decor with lots of wood. We had booked half board and dinner was ample and tasty. For breakfast there were lots of sweet things (filled croissants, preserves etc.) but no fresh bread, only packeted 'everlasting toast'.
The locanda is situated in a narrow dead -end lane at the top of the village, so there's no traffic noise at night, and we could park outside. We were unable to find detailed hiking maps but there was one mounted on the wall in reception. We asked on arrival if they had one we could borrow or buy to take with us next day, but in the morning a different member of staff told us there were none left. We managed without, though it would have been useful! See link for where we walked;
