Very nice historical castle still being developed/restored, but usable for small concerts and weddings. However, gardens and landscaping not yet attended to. Really appreciated the music museum dedicated to Eduard Tubin & contemporaries on 2nd floor.

Surprisingly thorough. This exhibition has instruments and recordings of the compositions that one can listen to in different places. There are videos of his travels that have been compiled and it is fun to see how things looked in the 70s. Very informative.

I'm a retired music teacher but shamefully knew nothing about this Estonian composer of symphonic works. After visiting the exhibition and hearing soundbytes resembling a cross between Sibelius, Scriabin and Shostakovich, I'm determined to give this guy a "first chance" by checking out some of his compositions on line.

A very pleasant surprise to come across this small museum in the castle. As well as Tubin, Heino Eller and a very young Arvo Part appear.
