I'd say without question THE best seafood meal in Agia Anna, if not Greece! A very quaintly decorated restaurant, in the beach ( metres from the lapping tide), offering views of the sunset, across the pristine sea.
The owner and waiter were both ever so friendly, and remember me from the previous year! Couldn't fault the service, the meal or the view!
The Ocean basket was definitely THE best selection of seafood, with king prawns, calamari, two fish fillets and fries! Mouth-wateringly good! And the tartare dip accompanying the meal was an added bonus.
Every course was a gourmets delight.....
I'll be back!

We use trip advisor wherever we go but have found that if we pick a place that feels right and looks the part we often have a much better meal. This place is rated as four out of five but was by far the best place we have eaten locally in three days/nights. The monkfish main with wild rice was outstanding, great portion size for €16. My partner had the grilled chicken with fries which he really enjoyed. The service was excellent, other reviews say service was slow, we found it very efficient and personable (maybe just the time of year). Other diners seemed to be on first name terms with owners/waiters from previous visits. The sunset was perfect, what an amazing location to be serving such a high standard of food. A lot of what we have eaten on the Greek islands and mainland has the overall feel that nothing has moved on in the last 20 years, it's nice to experience somewhere that's moved with the times and doing it so well. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!

Our group of eight had lunch here a few days ago and likes it so much that we booked for dinner. We had two wonderful sea food meals accompanied by the friendliest and accommodating staff. Thank you Nikos !!!

I've been at Patatosporos with my girlfriend during the last week of August 2015.
Key points:
- bad food: when we arrived the restaurant was empty and the cook was fully busy in grilling seafood. Then we discovered that he pre-coocked squid, calamary and octopus and put it into a plastic box, to be ready to just warm up the food later on.
- bad service: waiters seem to be bothered by your presence
- good location: nice place with nice view. But almost all places in Naxos have a nice view ;)

I can't really review the quality of the food as we had waited for so long that we cancelled the main courses. I'm sure that had they come, the grilled fresh shrimps and swordfish would have been delicious, as all other fresh fish on Naxos.

Unfortunately, having had to ask for a menu after 15 minutes, chase down our wine, ask to place an order after 40 minutes and with still no sign of any food after over 1 1/2 hours, we left. The calamari and aubergine 'salad' (baba ganoush) starters were good, but we had lost our appetite by the time they arrived. It may be 'high season' but a restaurant with 85 bookings, as we were told was the case on the evening we visited, needs more than 3 waiting staff.
