We called in for a drink after a beautiful river walk. We both used the toilets and they were absolutely filthy and disgusting. They should be clean, especially in a hotel. In light of current Covid issues we didn’t feel confident to drink or eat there if they can’t get the basics right. The public toilets that we’ve experienced in Wales are cleaner!

We visited at the end of a week away for drinks as a family group and were treated terribly. Despite there not being any signage to indicated guests only could get drinks, we were turned away and made to feel as if we had done something wrong. It was such a shame that this came at the end of an amazing week in Wales where we had been treated impeccably everywhere else. Manners coat nothing at all.

Great location in the heart of Llanrwst. Lots of walks nearby. The hotel is dog friendly.
The hotel is a little tired in places but I understand that it is being refurbished room by room.
We ate an evening meal on our first night and the food was lovely and plentiful. Very reasonable prices too.
We were lucky with the weather and we could sit outside overlooking the river with a few drinks.
The staff were all helpful and friendly.
There is a good choice at breakfast and it sets you up for the day.
A great alternative to staying in Bettws y Coed, which is always really busy.

Room tip: Try to avoid the narrow road bridge if you are heading out in the car 😀

I would just like say a massive thank you to everyone at the eagles hotel, with everything that is going off at the moment, they have been so accommodating towards me my son and my Great Dane (amaya). I couldn’t ask for anything more. My son absolutely loves it here as there are good long walks in the woods and a play park a stones throw away. Just a quick thank you to the lady on reception who my son absolutely adores, and we will be using the eagles for the forceable future it’s perfect.

So just once again thanks to all at the hotel.

I’m not one for leaving reviews but this one is a definite

Stayed here with friends whilst doing 3 peaks challenge. Great location & food shame about Covid rules as it made fir a weird atmosphere and no cooked breakfast in morning as you had to preorder the night before to get a prepackaged cold breakfast. Staff friendly rooms clean
