I found this Premier Inn to be Noisy. Although I knew ' The Rising Sun " Pub and Restaurant was next door I had been expecting it to be Fine as another Guests review had found this Premier Inn Quiet. Regarding the Pub I could hear from my Room the Sound of Empty Glass Bottles been disposed of by the Staff. Regarding the Premier Inn there was a Constant Humming Noise Sound from outside the Window A Fan ? Until about 11pm. In the Early Hours about 5am plus I was woken by the Sound of People Talking outside and the Sound of a Car.
The Wi fi didn't work which I only found out when in Bed and as No Telephone Number had been provided by the Reception I had to get dressed and go downstairs to Reception which he already Knew about with other Guests having also reported the Wi fi Not Working. No Compensation has been offered for the Wi fi Not Working which is an essential in this day and age.
Regarding the Coronavirus Health Crisis although their were Measures in Place such as a Hand Sanitizer I saw at Reception and a One Way dividing System to me it looked as though it wasn't 2 Metres Apart with the Passage to Narrow and from Memory I thought the Stairs were to Narrow. I don't rightly or wrongly think this Premier Inn is suitable to be Open during the Coronavirus Health Crisis unless there could be a proper one way System through out this Premier Inn with a seperate Entrance and Exit System in Place.

Everything was perfect, living near to it makes it easy access and all the services were spot on. Very friendly staff and very good cleanliness, all in addition to a greene king, some of the nicest restaurants i’ve been to, having been to it when it was a fayre and square i can definitely confirm its had an upgrade.
5/5 for all boxes

This is a co-location premier Inn and they do not control the restaurent in the adjacent pub The Rising Sun. The food is middle of the road pub food with a poor choice for those requiring Gluten free food. It was however hot with good portion sizes and sensible prices.

The breakfast was poor with no gluten free bread (keep some in the freezer and defrost as required) and the croisants were stale. Onlt semi-skimmed milk available but good coffee. The effect of these comments is to lose one star.
