This little resteraunt is owned and run by a super young couple and this makes a difference in quality and service. The food was lovely, beautifully cooked and flavoursome. The Swedish dishes make a welcome change. The sharing smorgasbord was generous and authentic. A refreshing change. We all had the homely venison stew and dumplings , the venison being locally sourced from Macclesfield forest. The desert menu is very tempting if you have room! The two sampled were excellent, very light and full of flavour. We were all so impressed. This resteraunts deserves to do well! We will certainly return!

I really can't fault the Salt Bar this evening. Service friendly efficient flexible and obliging. Menu so interesting and tempting that it was hard to choose. Food fresh, tasty and delicious. Great wines by the glass. I will be back!

Fab lunch , hotdogs for kids , veggie balls and fries for us . £4.50 each for kids . How is the place not packed everyday ? Friendly service , amazing food , think everyone must be in the chain coffee shops paying for plastic paninis. This restaurant is an affordable gem . Use it or lose it
