We stopped into Loving Food for breakfast, having been drawn in by the appealing menu. The granola and scone were ordered were excellent, as was the coffee. But my husband's porridge was incredibly salty. As this was our first morning in Scotland, we were unsure whether it was a typical preparation. So, we didn't say anything. But after many more samples of porridge, clearly there was a mistake. Either the chef double-salted the dish or perhaps mistook salt for sugar. Regardless, our one small issue shouldn't deter diners from patronizing this restaurant. If we had been in Stirling for a second day, we would have returned.
