PERFECTION - A gorgeous experience

My wife and I enjoyed a great stay at the 'Waterford'. Paul and Trina were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble.
On arrival we were welcomed with coffee and cake.
The room and its facilities were excellent, the bed was outstanding and Trina's breakfasts should win an award.
This will not be our last visit.

Room tip: Our room was at the front and we enjoyed a lovely view.

A great hotel experience

A small hotel near the promenade and town centre. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. It is a lovely hotel, clean and very well maintained. Breakfast is freshly cooked, with plenty of choice, and is excellent and served in a lovely dining area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a fridge and tea and coffee provided. If you like smaller family hotels this is an excellent choice. If your a golfer this hotel is perfectly situated with three of the best courses within 15 minutes drive. We will back next year.

A wonderful return visit

Lovely to return to the delights of The Waterford Hotel. Everything still as perfect as our previous stays here - spotlessly maintained with tasteful decor and friendly, welcoming hosts. Plenty of choice provided for the individually cooked and beautifully presented breakfasts - which taste as good as they look. The roomy bedrooms are sumptuous with comfortable beds, quality furnishings, plus a plentiful supply of drinks and nibbles. The hotel’s situation is quiet and ideally located - by the Marine Promenade and easy parking is available in the hotel’s free car park. It really is a pleasure to relax here in comfort with good views and unwind. A good choice of restaurants etc in Lord Street - which is within a short walking distance of the hotel. Cannot recommend highly enough and looking forward to our next visit already.

Room tip: Easy to locate - just savour the experience and take the opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries in this gem of a small hotel.

Relaxing Break

If you're looking for a COVID safe break this hotel is ideal, all precautions taken without guests feeling 'monitored'.
Another fantastic weekend break at our favourite adults only bed and breakfast in Southport.
Always a warm welcome from Paul and Trina on arrival and the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean with big comfortable beds.
Breakfast is divine. Freshly made by Trina and expertly served by Paul.
All in all a wonderful experience. We always feel relaxed and ready to take on the world again after our visits.
We'll definitely be back!

Quality quality quality

We’ve stayed here three times now, wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. Paul and Trina are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are superb, great choice and beautifully presented. The rooms are large with everything you could want, even a fridge and fresh milk. Bathrooms well appointed. The hotel is in a good location, just opposite the lake. Walkable to all the attractions. Paul and Trina know the area well and are happy to give information or recommendations.
