What a lovely Family run hotel. From walking through the doors and being met by John & Kirsty they made Me & Toby (my dog) feel very welcome. They also took the time to tell me about the local bars and restaurants that allowed pets. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are lovely. The hotel is close to all the good bars / restaurants / cafes & shops and a 5-10 min walk to the coast / harbour.
And I must say the Breakfast is LOVELY mmmmmmmmmmm They cater for everyone. Looking forward to going back again (But this time with a more behaved Toby) lol
Thanks for a LOVELY Holiday :) Shaun & Toby

Room Tip: John & Kirsty will help as much as they can to get the best room for you

Stayed over the bank holiday weekend and couldn't have asked for a better stay. From the first minute stepping into the hotel, Jackie welcomed me so warmly and was very helpful in letting me know where to eat, things to do and answering any questions I had. The hotel is in a great location: a 2 min walk from the sea & museum, just up by the high street and a short walk (10 minutes at most) from the harbour. And if you
fancy venturing out to Woolacombe, you should, the bus stop is nearby too. Three very peaceful nights of sleep, thankfully didn't hear too much cawing from the seagulls and the room was just right for one person. Breakfast was a real treat, the drawing area is very attractive and sitting out in the garden area, with the added bonus of the view of Capstone Hill, is a peaceful way to begin the day. Oh and breakfast is so delicious, you must have a fry up.
Thank you Jackie, Kirstie and John for your hospitality!

I stayed with my two young daughters and we all loved it...
the Family hosts are exceptionally welcoming, the hotel is exceptionally cean & tidy & the breakfasts are fabulous.
What a Gem of a find!!!! Thouroughly recommended...
Ideally situated in the heart of Ilfracombe to explore the seaside town, its beaches & harbour and a great location to explore north Devon...
really lovely stay thank you so much.

Room Tip: We had the triple room number 5 with a fab sea view.

Such a warm greeting from Kirsty and her family after a long drive down for a one night stay. Could not of asked for anything more, Room was spotless and everything that you might need for a stay has been thought of. The bed was comfy and lovely soft towels too. Breakfast was perfect, with plenty both hot and cold tailored to your own choice . Brilliant with my young son. Every age has been thought of from the bedrooms to various games to keep you entertained if you stay in for the evening. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Room Tip: Family room has a sea view
