Had a fantastic day at the wildlife park despite there being blizzards. Can see that the animals have large areas to give them a bit freedom to run about in which is a lot different to zoos etc.. nowadays.
Really close to the animals who look well cared and a lot of friendly staff situated around the park. Didn't get to see the polar bear cub as they decided they didntvwant to come out but plenty others to see. My favourite being the snow monkeys who I could watch for hours. Will defo be back

Best to buy your tickets in advance as the day we went they stopped people coming in.
When we eventually turned off the main road into the park it then took 1 hour before we were sent into an overflow car park as we had pre paid tickets. I pity the poor local traffic that couldn't get passed the queues on the main road.
I don't understand why attractions can't get people parked first, then sell them their tickets. Blair Atholl is the same. It just causes chaos at busy times.
We eventually got into the park and it was a delight. It is well laid out and organised. The baby polar bear is a big attraction.
We didn't buy any refreshments as the queues long.

Oh the baby polar bear is so cute...!! Is it cuter than the red panda, that’s a toughie...!!! Always worth a visit. Cafe busy and service on the slow side, but it WAS a very busy day and the staff were very pleasant.

Experience of the animals let down by poor management by staff. Having queued in car for 35 mins to get near kiosks, staff member instructed long line of cars including ours to make another queue alongside the fence of overspill car park. Three cars from our line were allowed to go to kiosks. Our line was then made to park up as staff member said park was full. However , the main line continued to be allowed to kiosks (ie cars that were behind us in the main queue continued to get into the park). Whilst the occupants of the cars which were behind us in the queue, sat in there cars and paid to get in, we were made to stand out in the freezing cold for 12-15 minutes with small children waiting to pay as pedestrians.
Happy to be in overspill if park was full but obviously really peeved that we had to wait outside in cold whilst long line of vehicles that were behind us in queue were waved into the park which was clearly not full. Bairns were cold to start with as we waited in pedestrian queue for long time just standing about - so trip in the park was by necessity curtailed.

So much space for all the animals. Talks and feeds were very informative! Really enjoyed seeing the polar bear and wild cat. Definitely could spend the whole day there. Coffee shop was lovely to.
