Our main aim is to offer our customers pleasurable holidays and memorable experiences.Our holiday farm`s major attraction is Hämsa Tavern, which offers delicious ethnic food. Seasonal celebrations often take place in Hämsa Tavern, and the tavern is a popular venue for birthday parties, meetings and different events amongst local people. In addition to Hämsa Tavern, we offer accommodation for those wishing to stay overnight. We have a Finnish sauna and the traditional smoke sauna by the pond, a BBQ house, places for Caravans and camping, playgrounds and much more.We are located in Võru County, nearby picturesque Andsu lakes. Võru town is located just 4.5 km from Hämsaare Puhketalu. Haanja, with the highest point of the Baltic States ’The Great Egg Hill’ is 12 km away.Come and spend your holidays in Hämsaare Puhketalu!

Authentic place with nice home-made cousine

The hostess was very friendly
We had our meal on an outside terrace, so fresh air was a nice bonus
We had to wait quite a while for our meals to be ready, but the waiting was so much worth it. It also probably means that it was really cooked, not just reheated, which is good.
The meat was really tender and tasteful, the size was larger than you would normally expect (although not enough for me)

Hearty home cooking

A great no-nonsense menu and friendly service. The pork chops with salad and sauté potatoes were excellent. Nice beers (I recommend A LeCoq's Premium [from Tartu]).
