You need to pay for parking and wifi which does adds to the cost of the stay which you need to consider if staying more than a couple of days. The hotel generally is good, clean rooms and good breakfast.

As our stay was a short one it met our need's although not really child friendly we will probably re-think it next time especially if we want to stay for a longer period. The location of the hotel was great for access to the beach and the pier but lookout for the busy road outside the reception if you have little ones.

Arrived 26th May check in fine, room fine as always, went out Sunday with family arrived back at the lodge 4-00pm to find no room in the car park, went in to reception to ask if we could park on yellow line and was told we had to park either in council car park or across on seafront, why would anyone park their car away from the hotel, we then had to park our car on my family’s drive and get taxis everywhere.

Very clean and nice view from room window. The girl behind the bar Bodie was very helpful when allocating my room where as when I’ve stayed at other hotels it has taken me a while to find my room as I do find it hard to see. Would have been nice to have more selection of food as I didn’t want to eat the same 4 meals for 2 weeks so i had to go out for food. The attitude of some staff wasn’t great at all times but mostly it was okay.

Booked this hotel for the night as was cheaper than the other ones. So glad we did as the hotel was so good. We asked for sea view and ended up having the best room. The view was amazing and could hear the waves when we woke up. You know what you are going to get with these hotels as they are all the same. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were really clean and fresh. We ordered breakfast this time and was pleasantly surprised, nice range of cooked food and was fresh and always topped up.
