Been sometime since we called here for Sunday lunch and pleased we did, was a nice lunch.

Good idea to book a table, was very busy, even late afternoon.

Sunday lunch menu is what you would expect, we have black pudding to start, very nice and Sunday roast beef, excellent, except for the mashed potatoes, very lumpy and would have preferred less mashed potatoes and more vegetables, good selection of desserts.

They have their own micro brewery and a nice pint of beer.

All in all, lovely location, nice atmosphere and a good value and tasty sunday lunch.

Thank Steve S

Called in, without a booking, for lunch on a Saturday. There were lots of free tables and about 5 tables with diners already seated. We were sat at a table next to an elderly couple eating. As we had a toddler, i would have preferred not to be seated right beside others given that there were lots of empty tables we could have been given instead. I always worry that people might find my chatty little son annoying. He was however, impeccably behaved.

There is a good choice of food on the menu and the meals we chose were very nice. The fish goujons my son had looked home made in a crisp batter. Service from the young female waitresses was excellent and the actual restaurant was very tastefully decorated with comfortable seating.

We eat at The Three Horse shoes regularly as the food is consistently good, the staff are all friendly and attentive and the restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. Friends we take there are always impressed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
