Always pleasant to journey across the lake on these clean and well run boats. You can buy tickets in conjunction with some of the other attractions at a discount. A nice and stress free way to travel .

A great selection of tours are offered which gives the best opportunities to see the stunning scenery and to visit lakeside (steam train and aquarium) and Ambleside. There are a variety of boats which operate across the tours all of which are very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We went from Ambleside down to Bowness on Windermere then returned via Brockhole. We had such a lovely time, the weather last weekend was just perfect, the lake was so still and the sun was shining. We got off at Bowness and had a potter around then headed to Brockhole for lunch and a bit of a toddler run around, before heading back to Ambleside in time for tea. Highly recommended using the Windermere cruises, they are so well organised and the staff are lovely.
