My wife and I enjoyed a lovely cream tea here. Home made jam, plenty of clotted cream and a huge pot of tea. Would certainly visit again

This cosy place is really worth finding it’s not on the main road. The staff were friendly and warmly greeted us as we went in. They had a great selection of home made cakes and I had sticky toffee cake which was to die for!
Loved the atmosphere will head to this place the next time we visit Windermere.

Came across this by accident while walking around. What a delight, a small cafe offering quite a good menu. Had a deal for £7 of soup, sandwich and a coffee. Absolutely delicious soup and cake for money. It really pays to walk a bit further as all the other cafes were full but I bet they would not have been as tasty as this one. The tomato and pesto soup was very nice and my husband had Lentil and Chorizo. I would return just to have this again.

We arrived via a boat trip so decided our best option would be to look for somewhere off of the main streets and by luck we can across this tea room next to the Post Office. After a very warm welcome we were shown to a table and told about the dishes of the day. An excellent lunch of a bowl of home made soup, a freshly made sandwich and salad garnish served on a platter. A feast for the eyes, smelled delicious and tasted great and was just what we needed. There were some delicious looking cakes on the counter but we were too full after our lunch that we sadly had to pass on them. Perhaps next time.....
