This cafe is so worth a visit the cakes & coffee were very good with plenty of chioce. We was very impressed how dogy friendly the tearoom was inside sitting area & outside also.
Milo our Cockapoo enjoyed the fuss and the biscuit treats serviced on a tiny plate for being a well behaved puppy. Milo's owners behaved well also and was welcomed by the owners of this cafe who couldn't do enough to welcome you. The cafe was very well stocked with treats for adults children and wet paws. We will return for a cuppa & cake on our next visit to the Lakes in September. Another male tourist who commented how lovely the homemade soup was mentioned he could not finish his next course so the lady wrapped it in tin foil for him to eat later on his travels he also left with a big smile.
Thank you .

Visited late afternoon in town and found this little gem tucked behind the main road just up from the lake with friends.

Had great hot sandwich with locally sourced sausages and a bowl of homemade delicious vegetable soup. Great service from all staff with special mention for Jodi.

Will definitely call again when visiting.

Bowness was very busy and facilities generally looking stretched. St Martins is off the the main drag and is a little gem with pleasant staff, good food and room to relax.

Quite simply, bloody lovely!
Friendly, cozy with great, fresh home cooked food. The lentil and chorizo soup was a winner. Thanks

Found the tea room for the first time and it won't be our last visit,
A lovely warm welcome, dogs welcome, children welcome!
Good selection of food and quick service - kids arrived earlier as they were hungry.
Food was wonderful - even made me a child's jacket potato as I didn't want a big one - some places won't do this.
Overall it was lovely and highly recommend!
Will return
