Our 5 year old loves the Beatrix Potter stories and we spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here, followed by a cup of coffee in the 'themed' tea room. The World of Beatrix Potter is extremely well laid out and interesting for both adults and children. It cost £17 for the 3 of us (2 adults & 1 child) which we thought was good value. To get the most out of this attraction you ideally need to be a fan of Beatrix Potter and know most of her stories.
The shop sells a wonderful range of items, some things being very expensive but other items at 'pocket money' prices.

Rather Disappointed from the minute we got in. Ok so it was 4 ish but after walking in and waited a good five minutes for anyone to appear we brought a family ticket which was £18 however we were not advised that the attraction closed soon.
Don't bother unless you have children under five who love the Beartrix Potter. After watching a small film about Beatrix potter and her books we started walking round the exhibition which is very sweety laid out. There is a lovely little garden to walk around which takes all of 5 minutes. With our family ticket the children had a quiz book to fill out around the exhibition which thankfully kept them entertained. The shop is very expensive and staff unfriendly i think this was because they wanted to go home.
