Mid November Sunday Lunch was outstanding and a great set price, excellent service and top food served to a very high standard.
£18.00 for two courses and £3 for desert...Eaton Mess is to die for!

As far as I remember (which may be wrong) this restaurant is good at me sty dished. So, we ordered duck breast, steak, chicken liver and scaollp. All we beautifully made and tasted very well. Staff are super nice. Just that if u go for dessert, the portion is way bigger than we expected....

We visited here after our boat trip (we had called up to book earlier). After a rainy day, we all wanted a hearty roast dinner & we were not disappointed.

Staff really friendly & helpful. We opted for the set Sunday menu (I think £18) starter & main. Along with a mini roast for our son (pictured with peas)

Couldn’t fault any of the service or food.
Will be returning on our next bowness visit!

The food was really nice right from the scallop starter to the cheese board at the end. The pheasant and lamb mains was cooked well. I think a cocktail menu would be a good move as they only had a selection of Prosecco cocktails. It’s definitely a place to try if your in Bowness.

Based on TA’s reviews we decided to come here for an evening meal and were not disappointed.
The Special starter was Mushroom bruschetta - divine; and the cheese soufflé equally gorgeous.
We both had the duo of lamb for main and it was stunning. With dauphinois potatoes on the side, you’re on to a winner. Glass of the Rioja too.
Dessert - honey and whiskey Creme Bruleè.
Faultless.
And nice toilets.
