Several months, maybe a year, since we were here.
Nothing really has changed!
Forget everything you understand about the word "burger", and come with a brain in neutral!
The formula is simple: a VERY good quality piece of ground and cooked beef, very tasty, with some "interesting" local ie. Dorset addons. I had the "rarebit" burger with a layer of Dorset Coastal cheddar - which I know is a great cheddar as Illve in Dorset. My local market cheese stall always sells out! The fries are great; homemade coleslaw chutney etc.
The ambience in the original ( Victorian?) Weymouth infirmary is "school refrectory" - wooden long tables. Good for groups! The downside is the chatter noise level of a busy evening. Two ways to take that! Busy = popular by locals - always a good sign!
Friendly - efficient - young, mainly female staff. Noticeable that everyone appeared "on the ball". Good!
We live 25 miles away, and will return when next in Weymouth!
