“Lovely quiet house close to town with a great sea view.”

Very handy location, easy pleasant walk into town through Nothe Gardens. Handily located for Newtons Cove, Sandsfoot Castle and Castle Cove. House had all mod cons including a extremely large TV and WIFI. Many thanks to Sean for immediate (same day) replacement of the oven that unfortunately was not working upon arrival - thanks again to Sean for going out of his way to sort this so quickly for us. We made good use of the kayak and travel cot.
Ideas for improvement: Providing summer duvets would be useful - existing polyester ones were really hot. Recyling and composting facilities were not provided but should be as it is collected by council (we had to take several bags of recycling home with us). Swap existing slighly reclined high chair (slumped baby!) for more practical/simple/upright one such as IKEA.

We had a great week at Number 8! We will recommend to stay there to all our friends or colleagues who would like to go to this lovely and interesting part of the UK.
Top arguments for Number 8 include:
* friendly, efficient and fast communication with Sean
* easy check-in and check-out
* house has everything you can ask for
* very quiet and friendly neighbourhood
* very central location
On the negative side -- really nothing.
(Thank you very much, Sean!)

“High standard accommodation, very clean & spacious, great location”

Directions and access to the property were straightforward and we found it clean and tidy, with a few items (tea, coffee, etc) to get us started. There was plenty of space (myself and wife, daughter, and mother-in-law) and the location was fantastic. You're straight out of the front door onto the coastal path and the Brewer's Quay area is less than 5 minutes walk, town centre is 10 minutes, and the main beach another few minutes. The ice-cream kiosk nearby is very good ! Plenty of games to play - we got hooked on Blokus, a slightly vicious board game. Can recommend the main beach, and also the walk along the coast path (both directions). The Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens are very good (great view of Chesil Beach) as are the cliffs and beaches just to the west of Weymouth. Sea Life Centre is okay - not worth it if paying full price (nearly £23 per person) but we got in for a much reduced cost.

“MODERN TOWNHOUSE CLOSE TO AMENITIES OF THE OLD HARBOUR .”
Reviewed 17 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Very well equiped house on 3 levels with sea view from dining room and good parking . Old Harbour can be reached by scenic walk along promenade and through the Nothe Gardens . Alternatively , a comfortable 10 min walk via the road will also get you to the harbour where there are a good choice of places to eat . Wi Fi was a bonus . Would definately stay there again .
