Called in here for a sandwich and a pint for lunch. Nice pub with a good selection of food and drink. I had a ham and caramelised onion sandwich which came with chips on fresh white bread.

Visited here a couple of times in the last few weeks and been impressed. The Old Rooms Inn is a good, honest pub; great harbour-side location and dog-friendly too (dogs are allowed in the first two parts of the pub, but not the third. There are dog treats on the bar too). There's a decent-size menu of usual pub grub dishes, with plenty of special offer deals (the two 'pub classics' for £11.49 is particularly good) - very much something for everyone. Service is friendly and attentive without being too over-the-top. Will certainly be back.

Tried to visit for breakfast on 9.03.18. Kitchen closed due to chef not turning up for work on time. Left hungry!!!!!! Thought we'd give it a second chance this weekend but unfortunately our experience was just a bad if not worse. The food was overcooked and tasteless would rather have had a McDonald's at least you know what to expect from there.

I apologise for this isolated incident where the kitchen was not opened on time and will make sure to assure this doesn't happen again. I also apologise you thought our breakfast was poor and will be making sure this is not the case for any future customers. We hope in due time you will try and visit us again

Visited this place twice as it was the nearest to where we were staying, The 1st time we stopped for drinks only as whilst it was 7.30 pm and the day was mothering Sunday the place was not exceptionally busy, the tables clearly had not been wiped down, and there was a number of dogs present which made my partner very nervous
Visited again on a Friday as the weather was poor, and decided to eat in the Restaurant area as Dogs are banned from this area. Food was Ok and very generous portions, but a little over cooked . Good value though!
Service from Waitress was excellent but the bar staff need to learn how to smile!
Beer very good

Thank you for your comments. I have arranged a meeting with my staff and during this meeting I will re iterate how our cleaning standards should always be one of our main focus points. I apologise our food was not up to standards for you during this time but do hope you visit us again. We also update our beer line regularly with new products and are glad you enjoyed our selection

Our first visit here, and it wont be the last. Very cozy interior and inviting atmosphere. Friendly staff. We only had drinks, so cannot comment on the food.
