It's the little extra touches that make this an excellent guest house. From the moment we arrived and Martin carried the bags to the room. Bath robes provided, plenty of tea\coffee and milk also as there is a mini fridge fresh milk is provided if you prefer. A mint chocolate, biscuits and a bottle of water. Breakfast, ordered the previous day is cooked to order, also a selection of cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit. The room and all public areas were spotless. Plenty of towels, replaced daily if required and a selection of toiletries. We had a wonderful break and hope to return in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 on the second floor, no sea view, but not in the room that long, not huge but perfectly formed.

My wife and I stayed a night at the Channel View whilst visiting a relative. Alison and Martin Weller were sitting outside enjoying the sunshine when we arrived, Martin immediately helped with luggage and, when traffic warden arrived, confirmed we were unloading and would move our car. We had the last available room, the "'small "' double on second floor with large bay window and superb sea views over close by beach. Very thoughtful touches, table and chairs in bay, binoculars, tea and coffee tray, small fridge and clock / alarm. Powerful if noisy shower and comfortable bed. Didn't check on wifi as short stay.
Breakfast was to order, full cooked and totally fresh.
Free parking outside from around 6pm to 10 am, not sure if same from 1st May summer season. So very happy with our stay and would be happy to return. Five star rating well deserved.

Room Tip: Room 4 is " small " double so clearly larger ones,

Stayed for a couple of nights in the middle of March. A lovely stay, everything is very clean, and we luckily had a sea view!
It's a brilliant location, right on the beach and only a couple of minutes walk into town.
Breakfast is tasty and enough to be setting you up for the day, kindly Alison & Martin, remembered it was our anniversary from last years stay, and gave us a box of chocolates.
We have already booked for a break for next year.

I was travelling alone for work. Alison and Martin were so friendly and made me very welcome. Breakfast was freshly cooked & very tasty. The guest house is right on the sea front but managed to park just outside. I would imagine that this would be more difficult in the summer. Great B&B, good value for money and would definitely stay there again.
