Great location with a good choice of accommodation. We had a cottage and cabin which were well equipped and very comfortable. We walked to the local pub which was a good 20 minutes walk. Calendar was the nearest town.

Room Tip: Most cottages/lodges had good views

Stayed with family at the Leny Estate to celebrate a birthday. We spent two nights in a log cabin on the estate - 2 bed / 1 bath. The accommodation was near-perfect, beautifully appointed and very well maintained. Outdoor grill available for use. Excellent views across the valley as well. Wifi available, good television service. Really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to going back!

We have just come back from a fabulous weekend based at Leny Estate in the lodges. Excellent accommodation, complemented by all attending. All booking dealings were easy, lovely staff, friendly welcome and flexible. Thanks so much Leny Estate, we'll definitely recommend!

We had a very enjoyable weekend staying in the beautiful North Wing apartment at Leny Estate. The baronial lounge is splendid with restored exposed stonework & wooden beams. We throughly enjoyed playing the baby grand piano. Both bedrooms (with ensuite bathrooms) are large & luxurious, the four poster beds were very comfortable.
The accommodation is beautifully furnished, well cared for & spotlessly clean. I cannot recommend the North Wing highly enough, it really is outstanding.

Thank you for taking the time to review our North Wing Castle Suite. Great to hear that you enjoyed the layout and furnishings. The baby grand piano is a fairly recent addition and we are delighted that you were able to put it to good use! We hope you visit us again soon.

If you want to spoil yourself and feel like you are living in a castle, the North Wing is the place to be. Just came off of a week's stay there, and loved every second of it. The property has a very French Country feel to it, but cross that with a Scottish castle. Lovely. The ground floor has a living room with wood-burning stove, and a baby grand piano. Unfortunately, we don't play the piano, so it didn't get any use while we were there. There is also a half-bath on the ground floor. The second floor, which is more of a mezzanine, has a well-stocked large kitchen, suitable for any kind of cook. The 2nd floor had two bedrooms, each with their own canopied bed and separate bathroom. The red bedroom has a separate shower and a deep bathtub, while the blue bedroom has a slightly smaller bathroom, with a shower over tub. The furnishings are beautiful Jacobean pieces, and look lovely in their settings. We were greeted warmly by both the owner and the estate manager. Turning left out of the property is Callander, a lovely little tourist-y village, just a very short distance down the road. To the right is Kilmahog, a much smaller village, but they have a decent pub and a few tourist-type stores. It was a wonderful week, and I would not hesitate to visit again, and to recommend it to anyone. I will return!
