We were attending a family event at the hotel and stayed at the Gate Lodge for two nights (its a two night minimum stay there). This is our 2nd stay and the house is spotless and the owner has made some nice improvements since last time (new wide screen smart TV so we logged into Netflix and AppleTV during our stay also there is an amazon echo available so can play music, get weather updates and news etc. There are lots of complementary toiletries and also I think a new kingsized bed/mattress in master bedroom). This house is located in the best location at the resort just at the entrance to the hotel itself. We arrived on a very rainy/stormy weekend but this didn't spoil our stay as we spent the time between the house and the hotel grounds/swimming pool/restaurant/bar. The house is very large with plenty of room for a family of 5 to chill. There is complementary tea/coffee, and even a bottle of nice red wine for us arriving. The heating system control system has been updated since we last visited and it's so easy to turn control the heating and the house is so cosy after a short time. We turned on the the gas fire one night when we were having a movie night. All in all we had a wonderful time and left the Gate Lodge fully relaxed after. We can't wait to return for another visit in the future.

Stayed here for two nights with two young children and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Great accommodation and facilities, and a only very short walk to the hotel make it the perfect spot for a relaxing family break. Definitely deserves its five star rating.

We stayed for a weekend at this amazing home. Everything a family would need was supplied. Definitely book and return. Fabulous house in a fantastic location.
