Stopped here for a quick drink after a long drive and saw some food coming past us that looked good. This was enough to for us to go ahead and order something. We chose the crab sandwiches as you’re not on holiday in the south west until you’ve had one. Lovely granary bread and good tasty crab meat in a line mayo - what’s not to love?!
The pint of Tribute I had was well kept and the perfect temperature.
Good pub.

We popped in for a coffee on a freezing cold afternoon, the pub has great atmosphere the staff were friendly and attentive, the only issue was trying to get in and out of very tight seating arrangements by the bay window.

We had an amazing 4 course dinner on New Years Eve. Could not fault any course. We were given a room to ourselves, which was two adults and our dog. We were never forgotten, the time between each course was perfect. A wonderful evening.

The history of the Rashleigh family includes that of a seafaring cousin, Sir Francis Drake, is apparent in the inn.
We lunched there and enjoyed wondering what it was like at an earlier period of history.

A beautifully positioned, charming historic establishment, bespoke Cornish accommodation, with breakfast fit for a king.
The restaurant food oozes quality and taste, far exceeding expectations.
Atmosphere, quirkiness and general warmth created by Dave, Kelly and their more than helpful staff, gave my elderly mother and pet Bulldog a most comfortable stay..
