Had sunday lunch share with some friends including 4 children. Child friendly setting with large outdooor seating area. Food was ok but not exceptional. Service slow as very busy. Used to come here years ago but food not as good as it used to be.

When the Heavens opened and we needed a comfy bed, hot shower and warm comfort food...
I rang the Ravensworth Arms and we were lucky to get a bed for the night, as we were booking in, I asked could we get something to eat? We were lucky that at 8.50pm the kitchens were still open and they kindly cooked 2 plates of cod and chips and mushy peas, and after being caught in the rain needed comfort food...they were delicious-Thank you.
Our bedroom was as we knew it would be, warm and cosy, and this was 4th August!! Hot showers, white fluffy towels, clean crisp white sheets, just everything for us to have a good night's stay.
Next morning a full English and help yourself to continental breakfast, and the staff are just so lovely, they bend over backwards to help you...Thank you so very much for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Outside Chalet Bedroom very very quiet

Modern stylish and great food. We went for Sunday lunch as a family and throughly enjoyed our lunch.

The food was hot, tasty, well presented and served with a smile.

Highly recommended with a wide selection to suit everybody.

Always get a warm welcome here. Popped in one Sunday afternoon recently for a cuppa & a slice of warm chocolate fudge cake. Scrumptious. Always a varied menu and a good selection of gins! We actually had Christmas day lunch here which was well worth it.
