We stayed for 4 days for a celebrity wildlife event with Iolo Williams and had one of the best holidays we have had.
There was a big mix up at the start of our holiday that really could have ended badly but was sorted quickly and efficiently.
We were a bit worried, as a younger couple that we might not fit in but we're totally welcomed by the hotel, the staff and all the other guests.
The hotel itself was lovely, room big, clean and had everything you needed. Much like the rest of the hotel.
The food was fab and a good choice each morning and night. The staff were superb. A real credit to the hotel. Very friendly and helpful.
All the guides and staff for the wildlife trips were fab too. Very knowledgeable and the trips were well organised. The weather was amazing, we saw so much and as enthusiastic amateurs, it was so brilliant to have people on hand to help answer questions and spot things.
Iolo was an absolute gent. Friendly, helpful and with the weather of knowledge you'd expect.
We finished the second half of our holiday on the west coast of Scotland but if we are honest, wished we had spent the full week here. A beautiful area, with amazing wildlife, in a friendly and welcoming hotel. We have some fantastic memories.
We hope to return some day again!

This is the second year running we have stayed at the Grant Arms Hotel for one of their wildlife weeks. This year we brought the whole family. We all had a wonderful time. There was a choice of activities every day, many of which were different from those offered last year; Sue did an excellent job coordinating the schedule. We were lucky enough to take part in events lead by Iolo and Mike, the celebrity guides, who have excellent people skills in an addition to an outstanding knowledge of the natural world. We enjoyed the evening lectures and walks as well. The evening meals were lovely, and the hotel staff were friendly and efficient. We stayed in their standard rooms which were large and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location for exploring this region of the Highlands.

We stayed at the Grant Arms hotel on a bird/wildlife watching trip for 4 nights. It was a wonderful stay with lots of helpful information on places to go and what to see.

It's a fine building, centrally located in Grantown-on-Spey.

The staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly, the room, beds and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. The food was also very good, as my expanding waistline will testify.

I didn't try them out, but several of my favourite Whiskys are distilled nearby.

We will book again soon!

We stayed at The Grant Arms hotel for a week, which was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the hotel spotless and the quality of food excellent. We had never seen a menu with so many gluten free options which made a real difference to the enjoyment of our meals.

Enjoyed 8 nights at the hotel. Great food served by friendly and attentive staff in a well operated dining room. Good sized, clean and well provided room. The wildlife club based there is open to all residents to enjoy their guided trips out (at least one each day) led by fellow enthusiasts whose local knowledge is brilliant. Plenty of good walks around the town perimeters to suit all capabilities. Cannot recommend the staff and hotel too highly. Thank you to you all for your having made us so welcome and making our holiday visit so enjoyable.
