Just spent three nights at this fabulous hotel and I can't recommend it highly enough! Ok the bathrooms are small and some of the decor may be a little tired but the building is hundreds of years old so it's not going to be sleek like a new build! What makes it so wonderful are the staff, who are friendly and efficient (without being obsequious) and very helpful at all times. Mum & Dad are in their 80's and were treated with respect and patience by everyone. The food in the restaurant was superb, the chef and his team are clearly very experienced and the waiting staff were very mindful of everyone’s safety at this time. Simon (from the BWWC) was a real treasure on the first night and helped us to plan Mum's "bucket list" visit in detail (resulting in us seeing golden eagles on 5 separate occasions!), ensuring we knew how physical each option would be. The talks in the evenings were informative and the daily excursions were well structured. Rooms were well presented and exceptionally clean - very spacious and comfortably furnished. It was a fabulous experience and, like many others, we will be going back as soon as we can

Room tip: we stayed in 213 & 215 and they were both very good. 213 looks out over The Square, 215 looks over the back garden

Pre-booked to have Sunday lunch and am very glad we did. A traditional dining room in what is a traditional highland hotel. Went for the 3 course option at a very reasonable £14.50. Quality & quantity of the food was very good and can certainly recommend the Grant Arms if you are in the area. Please note however that non-residents (such as we were) can only currently have Sunday Lunch and only if pre-booked in advance. Well worth doing

Recently returned from a fantastic 5 night break at the Grant Arms. The staff were all helpful and friendly, large clean room and all the meals excellent. Went on several very enjoyable wildlife watching trips with Mike Dilger and other guides, small groups of friendly guests to ensure social distancing. Ideal break for those interested in wildlife but in a good location if you have other interests. Hope to return next year.

Stayed at the Grant Arms Hotel for a four night break. Can't praise it enough. Very comfortable room, lots of hot water. Incredible food and warm and helpful staff who made my stay as easy as possible in these difficult times.
All this on top of incredible wildlife watching. Celebrity wildlife guides, responsible guiding and fabulous sightings from seals to cetaceans, sharks and eagles. Iconic wildlife in the most beautiful scenery. A bird watchers dream.Thank you Grant Arms, I'm already planning a return.

Everything about our stay was wonderful - spacious room with sunrise over mhor, excellent information from Wildlife and Birding Club helped us plan each day, the dinner menu was the best ever and we even lucked out with the weather! Viewing the contents of moth trap with Mike was another highlight for me while my husband slept on......

Room tip: as it was our first visit I can't really say
