Check in easy - polite, comprehensive detail of the free taxis arranged to the airport the following morning and return. Restaurant a little pricey - walked down the road to the local pub. Breakfast definitely NOT worth the £14.95 asking price but they have a captive audience. Taxi transfer arrived promptly.
Excellent hotel for 'Stay and Fly' from Manchester airport.
Worth the expense.

Excellent. My wonderful family arranged a surprise dinner party for my 60th birthday. We were made to feel so special. Excellent food and service. All the staff were very attentive. The service was second to none ( despite avoiding excited children running around). We had a dining room and lounge to ourselves. Billy, the bar man was extremely attentive. The staff in general were brilliant. They showed their professional side when a bat flew in to our lounge and several of our party ran away screaming. We managed to steer the poor creature out but not before several staff members came to our aid very quickly. I would like to thank Mere court for a wonderful birthday weekend and special memories.

Stayed for 1 night prior to flying from Manchester Airport, was located in lakeside family room with one double and .two single beds. Room was huge in size with nice furnishing, appeared to be some minor issues with some light stains to ceiling area. Package included parking for 7 nights, with taxi both ways approx 15 mins dependent on traffic, taxi service very good. Bar included light meals something we never tried, drove to local pub a very short drive or walk away. Overhaul would recommend this hotel and hope to book again for trip next august with extended family flying from Manchester, thanks to the staff for enjoyable stay.

Kind Regards
Tony Neason

We stayed for one night with a park & fly deal that was excellent value for money. We had a top floor eves room overlooking the large pretty lake with a spa bathroom.
I have given 4 stars for what are quite minor but irritating reasons, mainly it appeared the room was not quite finished between arrivals. When we arrived it was a horrid cold wet evening and all of the windows were wide open with rain blowing in and no heating on. There was no loo roll in the bathroom and a coffee machine but no coffee. We closed windows and popped to the bar for a glass of wine and to warm up. Asked at reception for loo roll & coffee which were delivered. We didn't eat there due to time constraints but the bar menu was more than acceptable and seemed well priced. We would certainly stay again.

We decided an overnight stay was in order to celebrate a birthday. The booking process was very simple with a warm conversation on the telephone regarding our requirements. Thank you Ian, Martin and the rest of the team!

Plenty of parking, valet parking if required, and guided to our room.

We upgraded to a feature room and were recommended the Kensington Room. It was, just perfect. Quite a large room, good sized bathroom with shower over the bath which also had a jacuzzi. There was also a lovely view across the gardens in the afternoon and during the evening too, by garden light. (Pictures attached)

We booked dinner, bed and breakfast at what we believe was a very competitive price. The ‘a la carte’ menu was very well put together with a good choice. The waiting staff were very attentive and assisted, when required, for menu guidance.

Breakfast was a buffet style unless you required something slightly different and they happily obliged me with my poached eggs. Plenty of juice, fresh fruit, pastries and preserves were in abundance and obviously lashings of teas and coffees.

Every part of our stay was very well catered for and I have no doubt we will stay again in the future.
