Gem of an establishment from the warm welcome from Derek and Mark to the well appointed rooms and superb innovative breakfast menu. Three night stay, enjoyed every moment. Cheers guys I’m sure we’ll be back.

We stayed only one night. We attended a family get together for a wedding anniversary. From the very first minute we were welcomed into this beautifully decorated property, which has been done to the highest standard.so tastefully decorated the hall has a wonderful tiled floor. Mark and Derek welcomed us and we were shown to our room which was exquisite. Again the attention to detail was a delight. Nothing was to much trouble and the area was explained to us with directions to good bars, good restaurants and our venue for the evening. We even met the owners dogs Lottie and Archie which absolutely made my day. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast selection is wonderful with everything freshly cooked and made. The dining room once again spotless and beautifully decorated. One of the best ever breakfasts I've had and the homemade marmalade making it even better.
Mark and Derek you deserve 5 stars for the service, and your hotel deserves a 5 star rating can't wait to stay again. Lots of cuddles to Lottie and Archie. Xx

Room Tip: We had room 2 sea view

We were welcomed by mark and derek so warmly. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Bed comfy, great shower, tea and coffee a plenty. We were served in the lovely dining room the best breakfast we have had in a long time. We will be staling again.

We arrived to a warm welcome from Derek who explained the layout and showed us our rooms. We were instantly impressed by the attention to detail of the hallway and this continued to our rooms...we had a double room and the family room for three. Both impressive with the original fireplace and attention to detail of decor. The warm welcome continued the following morning when we met Mark. We could not fault the choice of breakfast on offer and found each of our choices for the three mornings delicious. Covering from pancakes, crispy bacon and scrambled eggs to Kippers and poached eggs and vegetarian Suffolk breakfast.
We asked for recommendations for eating in the area....and weren't disappointed by the Jolly Sailor for lunch....a lovely walk along the coast and the Rock Salt restaurant on the Clarendon Pier.
We would thoroughly recommend The Corner House to anyone visiting the area and if a visit occurs again we wouldnt hesitate to book.
Thank you Derek and Mark your attention to detail and attentive hosting was much appreciated especially with our 87 year old grandma!

Upon entrance you are instantly captivated by the original tiled floor and it’s clear the owners have respected the history of the property throughout its restoration. Our room (3) had a wonderful fireplace, tall ceilings, bay sash windows with all modern facilities to make for a comfortable stay. Bed linen was clean and comfortable and the room as very spacious and well thought out. The hosts, Derek and Mark are friendly, welcoming and care about their guests needs. The breakfast offered a variety of choice and was well cooked with local produce. The location is a quiet road with which within minutes you are walking along a beautiful beach. Also....this was a highlight to me as I am an animal lover, I appreciated the opportunity to meet the owners dogs. For those that don’t love animals and want no interaction with the dogs, the owners keep them completely separate from guests unless guests like myself request to say hello and pay the pooches some attention. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will look to book again when next in the area!
