Went for a late lunch, they were really busy when we arrived, and the tea room is quiet small, but we found a table and were sports and welcomed by a friendly staff member who said they would be with us shortly. We served quickly, really nice to have table orders taken, so you don’t have to queue up. They were out of a few dishes, but we did arrive after the main lunch crowd. Due to spotting the cake, we decided to have just jacket spuds, and due to dietary requirements, need a coupe of small changes, which they were very happy to accommodate. My friend and I commented on how nice they were been to several places, and they are either over or under cooked, these were perfect with lovely flavoursome potatoes. The cake was truly scrumptious and lots of choice, it was hard to pick, which one to have. Will definitely e coming back, to this pretty decorated tea room, as can’t wait to try the speciality coffees they have on the menu. Next time the trip from Norwich will have to be way earlier, as spotter the breakfast waffles and definitely need to try them.

The best breakfast deal in Lowestoft. The food is freshly cooked and of excellent quality. They also serve lovely tea with proper tea leaves and not wishy washy tea bags.

Visited the tea room for lunch and had a nice enough time. Sandwiches were fresh and the coffee was good. The staff were also very professional. The only gripe being that the room was very cold which made it difficult to relax. Some people were wearing coats. I would go back despite this and recommend others to try it. It could have been a heating fault.
