This may not be the most glamorous pub but it has a very jolly atmosphere and it serves decent pub grub. We ate here twice. The spare ribs were great and plentiful, the beef strogonoff very nice. The scallop starters were amazing. It has a selection of specials and it tries to use fresh local ingredients such as venison and fish. Its regular pub menu is full of classics such as scampi and chips.
