Loved this hotel, we were made to feel very welcome by the owner, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and a very reasonable price, all in all a lovely hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: If you have mobility problems I suggest a downstairs room

Thanks for your positive review and I am glad that Keith the Manager made your stay a pleasant one. We try very hard to keep the hotel as you described and the breakfast is always freshly cooked to order at a bargain price. Many thanks, John.

I took a group of veterans on a trip to the NMA and stayed at the hotel for two nights. From start to finish we were looked after very well. The food was good and Cy the restaurant manager even came in on his day off to make sure everything was OK. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel to any group looking for a good value and well run hotel in the West Midlands area

Room Tip: The hotel does cater for weddings and parties so the top floor is less noisy

Have used this hotel many times, this time, with the consent of the manager, we used the sitting room for a small gathering, still impressed by the décor and the stylish antique furnishing. The garden is also a delight, small but well looked after, seats in the shade or in the sun provide a good and relaxing rest, or a quiet chat. A friendly and homely inn with lots of traditional English midland flavor.

Many thanks for your review and for choosing us as your preferred hotel; it is much appeciated by myself, Keith and the staff. It's Keith you have to thank for the garden as he puts a lot of his own time into it. We all hope to see you again sometime soon! Thanks, John.

This hotel is superb. the cleanliness, the food and the rooms were spotless. We had an evening meal & breakfast. What was remarkable, there was us, a Wedding Reception of 150 people, and a Private Party ad there was only 1 Chef to do it all. Our meal was 3 course, with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. I wasn`t the only one to comment on the standard of the food. The Manager cane on to the Coach to greet us & when we left him & the Catering Manager came o to the coach to wish us a safe journey etc, I have never known this happen before and the Manager held the traffic up until we got on our way.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor and had a lift to all floors

Very close to town centre and Whightwick manor(if you enjoy a bit of history. Short drive to Iron Bridge, Brigenorth and the home town of Charles Darwin, Shrewsbury.
Helpful and friendly staff, clean, comfortable and free WiFi. Breakfast available if desired and a great curry take away just a 5 min walk away.

Room Tip: All rooms were good but rear of hotel offers view of great typical English style garden

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Yes, we are situated centrally for many visitor attractions and I am glad you were able to get around those you mentioned.
