Basic menu. Dog friendly pub. Local real ales. Food was adequate. Stay away from the steak unless you like it well done.

We just happened to be in Taddington, a small quiet village now by-passed by a dual carriageway. We had Sunday lunch. Lamb roast which was excellent and accompanied by 7 veg. Not masses of it but it was a very nice mixture. The staff wre very friendly. I would certainly recommend it, but you have to go off the beaten track to find it which makes it all the better.
