Spent a superb few hours here with my two boys (11 & 13). Really helpful, friendly staff, good escalation of challenges through the obstacles, clear instruction. I was a bit concerned it was expensive for what you got, but this wasn't true at all- serious attention to safety and detail. Recommended!

I didn't mind that this was a bit pricey at just over 30 quid because you definitely get your money's worth.

On arrival you sign paperwork and have a safety talk which shows you the ropes. Then you start the course as a group with the instructor watching at the start to ensure everyone is safe. After this you are pretty much left to your own devices as everyone goes at their own pace.

We did this as 4 adults and a 12 year old and we all equally had fun and said we'd do it again.

I would recommend wearing clothes that you are not too fussed about as we got muddy at the end of each zip wire! Also, if you are planning on going into Buxton after then a change of clothing is a good idea!

It took us the 3 hours to get around and there were a couple of drink stations at various sites as you can't really take a drink with you on the course.

Instructors were friendly and helpful too.

Last time I went with my son, he was only just 10 years old and he was abit overwhelmed by the intensity of the place. Nearly 3 years on and he had a score to settle!! This time he aced it!
Great fun, instruction is second to none, and there is no interferance once you get going (unless needed) Allow 2 hours at least for your visit and don't wear your best clothes!! :-)

I had a great time at GoApe Buxton, it’s something really different, but such a good idea and so much fun 

The staff made us feel at ease with a safety briefing and helping us all out at first. They were all friendly and provided us with water all throughout the course.

If you’re stuck for something to do Buxton, definitely give this is a go!
