We stayed overnight at the Lee Wood (August 2017) with connecting rooms for children. Close to the centre of town. The rooms have been updated since our last stay. Comfortable beds; very clean; excellent breakfast; no music in breakfast room - great!!!; quiet hotel(apart from some noisy plumbing!); friendly and helpful staff; good price. Wil definiely stay here again when in Buxton.

Excellent hotel where the staff are very attentive and helpful. Food is of a high standard with very good service. There is enough parking at the hotel and it is within an easy walk to the town/theatre etc.

As most people know I write reviews on Tripadvisor, However, this is not just a review of this hotel, it is a review of an amazing place that cares for its customers and staff.
The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff treat you as a long lost friend, they really do.
the food is excellent and freshly cooked when ordered especially breakfast.
I recommend this hotel to you all, I have travelled the world and stayed in many hotels, and only a few have been as excellent as The Lee Wood, however please remember to appreciate the staff.

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were super

Had a lovely break at the Lee Wood Hotel. We stayed two nights as a couple then asked if we could upgrade for our final night to a bigger room and bring our children along. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and found us a family room, no extra cost and they moved our luggage for us too. The family room was lovely and the children really enjoyed their stay, we all did. Thank you!

Spent a couple of days here, with 2 rooms. Many thanks for the newly completed room 45. The decor was lovely. A great view too. We enjoyed the evening meal and the distance from town was only 5 min walk.
