Great walk from Dunkeld over the bridge on right hand side of the road, around by the doctors surgery and football parks, go under the under pass of the A9 head through Inver pass the caravan park, into the hermitage and up through the woods you will come to Ossian's Hall fabulous walk leads you over a bridge to Britains tallest tree.

How do you put into words this magnificent place? After a lovely walk you come across the big door leading to an atmospheric room beyond whch lie the glass doors onto the balcony. You can hear the roar of the river in full spate crashing through the gorge. You are on the viewing balcony and feel you are in the full fury of the river! It's a magnificent sight and well worth the walk to it.

This is a great destination to walk or cycle to and to see the power of Mother Nature from. Anyone visiting the Dunkeld area must visit here.

From the parking lot of the hermitage it is just a small walk upto Ossian's hall. From here the views on the Black Linn falls are breath taking. Noisy and wet, I imagine the observationpoint to be crowded in the summer months. In autumn there are not many toerists around and the autumn colors just add to the experience

I just simply love it here. I manage to take the best picture of my whole trip of Scotland here.

This hall is basically opens up and you are able to walk out and take pictures of the waterfall.
