Just returned from an overnight stay with my wife. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was small but tastefully decorated ( no tartan ) and the ensuite was clean and in good condition.

What really amazed us was the food. It was simply delicious and in plentyfull portions.

Also the staff were all really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend

The hotel was our base for a four night break in Dunoon so we could take a look around a bit of the west coast and catch up with family. It didn’t disappoint.

Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had our wee dog with us who was a bit anxious/nervous about us leaving him in the room for meals however the staff were understanding and whilst we ate a (fantastic) breakfast each day relatively stress free, the evening meal was a bit less relaxing due to Fido being left in the room but we did get to sample some lovely dinner on the Saturday night!

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again (with or without the dog, probably without so we could relax ) and have nothing but positives about this little gem. A lovely 15 min stroll along the waterfront to town and with stunning views I would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Thank you

Stopped off for a one nights stay enroute to Skye.

Location
Easy to find from the boat terminal just along the main sea front road . Located close to the sea front .

Hotel
Nice little reception area with a bar and seating area at point of entry . There are some benches outside the front of the hotel if you wish to sit and take in the fresh air

Room
Was comfortable for one nights stay . The shower was really good and powerful - amazing.

Food
Breakfast was lovely tasted really nice

Service
The service was really good land prompt . The chap looking after the guests was really good and helpful

We have just returned from a two night stay at The Park Hotel. Our reason for visiting Dunoon was to re-visit the locations of family holidays in my childhood. We could not have chosen a more perfect hotel. The room was spacious; comfortable ; and most importantly, clean.
Our room had a fabulous view across the Clyde to the Cloch lighthouse and Gourock.
We had dinner and breakfast both days and were spoilt for choice. The food was beautifuly cooked and very reasonably priced.
Not only were we blessed with lovely weather but great accommodation which we would certainly recommend to others wishing to explore the Cowal Peninsula.
We wish Claudiu and Mariana all the best in weathering these uncertain (viral) times and thank them for their hospitality.

What a wonderful hotel - such a warm welcome and very friendly fellow guests. The home cooked food is excellent, in particular the goulash and fabulous fish and chips. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed in room 26 which has a large bed and a single - it is wonderfully decorated with some lovely extra touches. We had 2 lovely nights and will be sure to return!
