After a horrendous twelve hour journey from the South of France we stubbled upon this hotel fairly late at night and received the warmest of welcomes from the lovely young receptionist. She gave us a delightful room, large, clean and really comfortable room. I must say we have travelled widely and stayed in both budget and 5 star and for £59 including breakfast for the two of us, this simply cannot be beaten. Breakfast was lovely and ample and checkout straight forward. I also unfortunately left my makeup bag there(tragic for a woman) and one phonecall to them and they agreed to return it immediately. We will definately return to this little gem!!!

Room Tip: We had ground floor

we arrived on the coldest day this year but the welcome we recieved was very warm.the hotel was very clean in every department and the dinner menu if somewhat limited in choice was reasonably priced and good value another nice touch was that even though the bedroom has heating the hotel gave us a fan heater to supplement the heating incase we got cold.not many hotels would do this.well done will definately stay here again and thank you again for making our stay very memorable for all the right reasons

Room Tip: just be nice at check in

Travelling to Belgium on a Monday for 10.20 Tunnel crossing didn't fancy fighting the M11 & M25. So chose this hotel because of its location and travelled down on Sunday afternoon, everything you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express

the rooms are too small for a double sofa, the bathrooms are well designed but very cold and no bath. when we arrived with a young child there was only limited availability for dinner so we went out with instructions and ended up lost in Folkestone. the car park had not been gritted and it was lethal when we left in the morning. also there was a coach parked on the car park exit obstructing view. position wise the hotel was very close to the tunnel, probably it's only saving grace.

Room Tip: go to the holiday inn ashford, it's about 15 minutes away but so much better value for money

We stayed two nights at this excellent example of a Holiday Inn Express Hotel, like many, for access to the ferry in Dover (20 mins drive away)

The hotel offers value and comfort when using this hotel as a base and includes a basic breakfast with a limited - but adequate hot and cold choices.

Service was absolutely fantastic - efficient and friendly, the room was spotless, and the bar was great for a night cap before bed.

Its location right next door to a large Tesco with Petrol station and just off the Motorway make it ideal for both the Chunnel and for Dover ferries.

Would heartily recommend.
