My family have been going to the Dildar since it first opened in 1983. The food has never been substandard and is always delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken dishes are always succulent and mouth watering and they use good cuts of meat so you never get any fat or gristle. They have the best onion bhajis for miles (flat and crisp instead of balls). The service is exceptional and the waiters are very friendly and attentive. This place is a gem. It's not worth being bowled over by the garish frontage of the restaurant a couple of doors down. This understated Bangladeshi eatery should be your first choice every time.
Recommend: Chef's Special (chicken in a mincemeat sauce) - outstanding
