We visited twice during our holiday break in Sidmouth. The Restaurant is compact so the tables are close together out of necessity, decor is basic but clean. They really need to sort out the entrance door which sticks badly, so much so that we saw one gentleman struggle to leave the restaurant. The table next to the door should be avoided. Restaurants are all about food and this is where it scores, overall the starters and mains were very good and the Naan Bread the best we have had in a long time. The Chicken Tikka Balti was closer to Madras hot rather than medium as described otherwise the meal was spot on. There is good take away trade so there is a slight delay with the service at peak times but not overly so. The restaurant is unlicensed so take any alcoholic drinks with you which is a bonus as far as I am concerned. The bill was around £30 for the two of us each having 2 courses without poppadoms. Highly recommend for a no frills curry.
