We often visit here when out cycling and always get a warm welcome. The pub food is exceptional, with a very good menu and the fish and chips second to none. The interior is quite dated but what do you expect from a 19th Century pub, it's certainly in keeping with the ambience of the place, unlike other period pubs that have had makeovers. The staff are always welcoming and it's well worth a visit.
