We visited on a Friday evening to celebrate mum's birthday. At 7.30pm the restaurant was quite busy but we were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after. The waitress was extremely helpful and accommodated my specific requirements. Although the menu was not extensive, the food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The steak and ale pie was one of the best my husband had tasted. Dessert was a joy - cheesecake as light as a feather and the old favourite sticky toffee pudding. In addition to the food, the bonus of a massive choice of gins all served with a unique accompaniment will definitely have us going back again and again. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
