Absolute dive I know £45 is cheap for a room but the bathroom was mouldy and the ceiling caving the bed felt like we were rolling down the hill the window had chewing gum stuck to the outside. I had to pay an extra £14 for breakfast which niether of us enjoyed infacted I only ate the toast. Waiter spilled coffee over the table didn't offer to clean it up. The toilets were poorly maintained sinks had rust all over them. The car park had more potholes then a builders yard. Would not recommend

More of a motel than a hotel. Your first task is to navigate the pot holed car park. Marvel at the myriad signage in reception that informs you they do not take cash and the steam room is out of action etc etc etc. You then get to play a round of crystal maze to locate your room down the never ending labyrinth of corridors. If your lucky they will not have activated your key card so you get to play a bonus round. Opened the door eventually with some trepidation but the room was OK and good value for the £45 we paid (me being a self confessed cheap skate). Slept well. The breakfast again was OK but a bit scorched.

Awful we were booked in for one night and i was hoping for a relaxing overnight stay with my son who was very excited about the pool. However when we arrived we realised this was not the type of hotel that was going to be relaxing. The hotel is shabby and looked like a working mens club. We were told we had to pay to use the pool but could only use for an hour as then it was adults only. The guy on reception was friendly and explained the bar was open till midnight. We proceeded to our room which when we walked it was smelly moldy and a huge stain on the carpet manifested to be a wet carpet from a leaking radiator. My son has asthma and started coughing the moment we walked in. Needless to say we couldn't stay at this hotel. I know it was a cheap hotel but it was a hazard to health run down , and disgusting. DO NOT stay here. We booked into the premier inn which was only £10 more.

Room tip: Premier inn much better

Beware. Website images bear no reflection on the actual hotel. Positives: Polite staff. Negatives: Everything else. Plain awful accommodation and a clear case of false advertising. Avoid at all costs.
