Went with a group of 18 to the high ropes. We booked for a 1.1/2 hour slot. Included in the allotted time was kitting up which took a while with a group of children aged 11 and under, this then left less time on the actual course. Because there were so many of us we were then split into two groups, while one group got to go straight on to the low ropes course the rest of us were left on the cliimbing wall. By the time our group was taken up on to the low ropes we were told that we did not have enough time to do it. We were offered the high ropes course but many of the children were young and did not go that high. We were then only left with the fan drop. For £18 each and having paid for three I did not feel this was my monies worth, to just do the climbing wall and one jump. The staff memeber was very good but kept saying they were understaffed. I would not recommend the high ropes as i could pay less money elsewhere to just do a climbing wall.

Thank you for your review Stuart. I was disappointed to read about your experience and am sorry that you did not feel your outing was as successful as it should have been. I hope that, in spite of this, you enjoyed aspects of your day in Vivary Park. I would encourage you to feedback directly to the Vivary Adventure Centre if you haven't done so already. Please find the Centre's contact details via the following link: https://www.better.org.uk/leisure-centre/taunton-deane/vivary-adventure-centre. Thank you again for your comments.

On a sunny day a lovely place to walk, relax or spend time with your young children. We went as a family and weren’t disappointed

Thank you for review of Vivary Park. It is always lovely to hear how people use and enjoy the park, especially when children are involved. There is plenty on offer to entertain youngsters, from traversing the high-ropes of the Activity Centre to spotting the wildlife which call the park their home. I hope that you and your family are able to spend many more happy hours there in the future. Thank you again.

A truly wonderful town park. Plenty of amenities with a golf course and tennis courts in the centre of Taunton.
The annual flower show is held every year and lots of musical events with top acts.
Well worth a visit if in the County of Somerset.

Thank you for your glowing review of Vivary Park. We feel very fortunate to have such a lovely, varied open space just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. As you said, it hosts a wealth of events - for example, Billy Ocean, Kaiser Chiefs and Paloma Faith will be rocking the park over a three-day Party in the Park event this summer. I hope that you are able to visit Vivary Park many more in the future and enjoy all that it has to offer. Thank you again for your comments.

Vivary Park is good for a nice gently walk when the weather is good. Childrens play area and high level walk for those who need more adventure.

I visit Vivary Park on an almost daily basis. It is a place where one can be in natural solitude for reflection and peace, in company as a venue for simple socialising and as a place where new friends and acquaintances can be discovered, just by being there and conversing with like minded souls.
